This article explains how to crop images after a test photo shooting or a regular capture using the app. By cropping the image, the gauge or inspection target will appear larger, making it easier to configure subsequent settings.
Why use image cropping?
You can crop images captured with LiLz Cam App in either High or Standard resolution. By cropping only the necessary gauge/instrument area and reducing the overall image resolution, you can increase the maximum number of photo shootings allowed per day.
Set the image quality to "High resolution" or "Standard resolution" and tap "Take photo with selected resolution" button at Selected Quality.
2. Once the capture is complete, the image will be displayed in the app.
3. Scroll down and toggle the "Crop" setting to ON.
4. On the cropping adjustment screen, adjust the white frame so that the gauge fits within the boundaries.
5. Tap the "Set crop size" button at the bottom of the screen to select the desired dimensions.
Note: Please choose a size that fully encompasses the gauge.
6. Once you have decided on the size, tap Done.
7. Set your schedule with the cropping toggle still set to ON.
Note: The maximum photo shooting frequency shown in the schedule depends on your subscription plan and the chosen crop size.
